Lean Foundation & Practitioner

Overview

The 3-day Lean Foundation and Practitioner training course is designed to provide delegates the knowledge and skills related to the deployment

of Lean across an organisation aiming to become a Lean Enterprise.

Lean helps identify and eliminate or reduce waste in a value stream, which is similar to an expanded process. The focus is on value creation and delivery to customers in the form of fit for purpose products and services. It helps reduce Lead Time (the end-to-end process time), improve the process flow, and increase productivity and product or service quality.

Deployed effectively with active leadership engagement and support and enabled by Just-In-Time training in the Lean philosophy, methodology, tools and techniques, Lean can help reduce operating costs, and improve productivity and quality. This results in improved customer satisfaction and loyalty and helps an organisation grow and prosper in a sustainable way.

The Role of Lean Practitioner

The Lean practitioner is the initiator of Lean improvement processes and Lean implementation.

  • Hands-on professional, whose objective is to develop the perfect process and inspire those involved to do better on a daily basis.

  • Understands in-depth the Lean philosophy, methods, tools, and techniques

  • Is familiar with Lean principles and inspires others to participate in the improvement process.

  • Subject matter expert (SME) helping organisations to excel in performance and product and service quality.
