The Master Black Belt training course is intended for holders of the Black Belt certification who wish to build on their existing Lean Six Sigma knowledge.The objective of this certification course is to develop leaders of Lean Six Sigma implementation projects that use advanced quality and working tools for long-term applications and that positively influence the results of the organization.

The overarching learning objective of this course is to develop a comprehensive set of skills that will allow you to function effectively as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt. Prerequisites

​

• Proficiency in the English language, willingness to learn, and open mind to new ways of working.

• Certification in LSS Yellow Belt, Green Belt, and Black Belt

• Practical experience in managing LSS cross-functional projects

• Advanced numeracy and statistical knowledge is required.

Training Approach

 

The course covers both theory and practice:

• Slide-based training sessions, supported by examples

• Preparation for the Foundation exam

• Practice test (mock exam) simulating the certification exam.

​

Assessment & Final (Written) Exam

​

• 50% of the total score can be earned from the assessment/ in-class exercises (max 50 marks)

• 50% of the total score can be earned from the written exam   (max 50 marks)

• Min combined score 70% (70 marks) is required to pass and be certified

​

Assessment

​

The assessment requires completion by the delegates of in-class exercises/ tasks that are presented to, reviewed and assessed by, and scored by the Trainer delivering the course.

​

The assessment score carries a maximum of 50 marks (50%) of the total combined score to be achieved.

​

Final Examination

​

Upon completion of the training course, you can sit for the exam and become Certified LSS Master Black Belt .

​

Following are the exam details:

• Duration             120 min           

• Format               Closed book

• Questions          90 multiple choice

• Pass mark          70% ( 63 correct answers).

​

The examination score carries a maximum of 50 marks (50%) of the total combined score to be achieved.

​

Certification

​

LSS Master Black Belt certification is a much sought-after qualification for experienced Lean Six Sigma Black Belts looking to learn how to lead multiple Six Sigma teams.

The LSS Master Black Belt certificate will be issued to delegates achieving a min. total combined score of 70% from the assessment and the written exam.
