Standard, On-site, Classroom, Instructor-led Training

Overview

This type of training:

  • Is available to the employees of our corporate clients.

  • Is delivered by qualified instructors on-site, or at a venue of the client's choice.

Our Recommendation

We recommend this type of training if you:

  • Are seeking a cost-effective way to train more than three (3+) people, including executives, managers, and teams

  • Have operational, or other constraints, regarding the schedule, location and cost of available public courses, the number of employees who can be concurrently away from your offices, etc.

Course Choices

You can choose any course we offer, and have it delivered to your team on-site.

Course Content

We typically deliver the "standard" version of our courses, without any changes.

However, we can prepare and deliver bespoke courses and executive briefings, at your request.

Preparation

Our instructor, who will deliver the training, is likely to spend some time with your management before the course starts, to understand:

  • Your company’s learning needs

  • The environment, where the knowledge from the training will be put to practice.

This will help him/ her to align the approach to training and learning with your business objectives.

On the course start date, and prior to the instructor's arrival, the client must ensure the following:

  • Preparation and availability of the classroom

  • The appropriate technical set up is complete.

A classroom preparation checklist will be provided to assist your staff.

Hours

Typically, our courses and workshops begin each day at 9:00 am and end at 5:00p.m.

  • This may be adjusted to meet the client's needs

  • The trainer should have access to the venue from 08.30 to 17.30.

Course delegates will be notified from the client's point of contact/ co-ordinator regarding the course dates and start/ end times.

Participation

The maximum number of delegates for on-site courses, held at corporate client's premises or other venue of their choice is limited to 12 people.

Course Materials

Course workbooks/ training materials are provided to each course participant as appropriate.

Additional Service Options

We can also provide the following additional services on-site:

  • Train CXO-level executives, such as CEO, COO, CIO, CFO, etc.

  • Train department managers/ heads and their teams

  • Adjust the course duration and level of detail to meet the delegates' training and learning needs

  • Create bespoke courses, on the client's request (see notes below).

Note: In order to effectively prepare for delivery of bespoke on-site classes, we need to gather information about your organisation, its history, industry sector, products or services, customers, clients, and end users, types of operational and commercial activities, the marketplace in which your company is trading, legislation, etc.

On-site Training May Cost You Less Than You Think

In terms of cost, training your team on-site has some advantages, vs. sending  your employees to a public training course:

  • You save your delegates' commuting time to/ from the public training venue;

    • This depends on the location of the venue, the location of your offices, and the delegates' home

  • You save money that you would spend for travel and accommodation of your delegates

    • This cost could be significant.

  • You reduce the total cost per delegate attending the course.

Choosing our in-house/ on-site training classes option you benefit your business and those attending the class by, e.g.:

  • Refreshing your team’s knowledge and skills, and boosting their morale, confidence, and productivity

  • Giving your team an overview of your current business management system(s), and the requirements, and changes necessary to transition to e.g. the new version of the management system standard and maintain you certificate.

    • Example: to make the transition from OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001.

  • Train a group of internal lead auditors at the same level, using the same methods, tools, and techniques.
